I had to get several reports done today, so I had some semblance of a weekend left for my family, however that required me being at my office till 2am. It’s now damn near 4am, and I can’t get wind down, even after two glasses of Scotch. I almost, almost mind you, envy those who have had time away from work due to the Covid lock down. I really don’t know what I’d due if I had to be at home for the past several weeks. I haven’t had more than 2 weeks vacation in several years. Please, don’t mind me, I’m tired, strung out and slightly blitzed. SVR for your time....

I have a very flexible work schedule, basically I can work when I wish too. However, that does mean I don’t have the vacation time others do. My dad had six weeks of paid vacation time by the time he was my age (51). But, he had to work 5 days a week, 8+ hours a day. I don’t, but I do wish I had that time off to spend with my family.
